The Facemask Factory tackles several issues at the same time. First, produce locally; there was no manufacturer of surgical masks in the Netherlands. At the same time, the factory provides jobs to people with a refugee background. This gives them a valuable start on the Dutch labor market.
To introduce the factory and its products to the Dutch market, we had to act quickly. While they were on the phone with everyone -from manufacturers in China to partners at the Dutch government- to get this plan started, we developed the brand, website and communication strategy. Now that Corona has faded into the background, the Facemask Factory focuses on dental practices.
